AI-Powered Reports

Automatic Context Detection

AI Reporter's intelligent system automatically analyzes your recordings to understand the context:

Visual Analysis

AI examines screenshots and video frames to identify UI elements, error messages, and visual anomalies.

Environment Info

Automatically captures browser type, screen resolution, and timestamp for comprehensive reports.

Smart Extraction

Adaptive frame extraction selects the most relevant moments from your video for analysis.

AI Context Hints

Help the AI understand your issue better by providing optional context hints:

"The submit button is not working on this form when I enter special characters."
  • Context hints are optional but improve AI accuracy
  • Describe what you expected vs. what happened
  • Mention any specific steps that trigger the issue
  • Leave blank for full automatic detection

Report Types

Choose the appropriate report type based on the nature of the issue:

Incident

Use for service disruptions, outages, or issues affecting production systems.

  • • System downtime
  • • Performance degradation
  • • Security incidents
  • • Data issues

Bug

Use for software defects, unexpected behavior, or feature malfunctions.

  • • UI/UX issues
  • • Functional errors
  • • Integration problems
  • • Edge case failures

You can set a default report type in your profile settings to streamline your workflow.

AI Report Generation

When AI processing is enabled, your recordings are analyzed to generate comprehensive reports:

1

Frame Extraction

AI selects key frames from your video using adaptive algorithms to capture the most relevant moments.

2

Visual Analysis

The AI examines each frame to identify UI elements, error messages, and visual indicators of issues.

3

Report Generation

A detailed report is generated with title, description, steps to reproduce, and environment information.

Pro Tip: You can regenerate the AI description at any time by clicking "Regenerate with AI" in the report form. Edit the generated content before submitting if needed.

Automatic Translation

AI Reporter can automatically translate your reports to different languages:

  • Write reports in any language you're comfortable with
  • AI automatically detects the source language
  • Reports are translated to your configured target language
  • Technical terms, code snippets, and URLs are preserved
  • Configure per-integration translation settings

Enable translation in Integration Settings and select your preferred target language for each integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What browsers are supported?

AI Reporter works best on modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Screen recording features require browser support for the Screen Capture API. Safari has limited Picture-in-Picture support. For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox.

How long can my recordings be?

Video recordings are limited to 30 seconds maximum. This limit ensures optimal AI processing and keeps reports focused on the specific issue. If you need to capture a longer workflow, consider breaking it into multiple recordings or using screenshots for key moments.

Is my data secure?

Yes, security is our top priority. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Recordings are processed securely and can be deleted at any time. We use industry-standard security practices and comply with GDPR requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use AI Reporter on mobile devices?

Yes! While automatic screen recording isn't available on mobile browsers due to platform limitations, you can use your device camera to capture photos or videos of issues, or upload existing screenshots and recordings from your gallery. The AI analysis and report generation work the same way.

What integrations are available?

AI Reporter currently integrates with ClickUp, Jira, and Linear. More integrations are coming soon, including GitHub Issues, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello, and ServiceNow. You can configure separate destinations for incidents and bugs.

How does the AI analysis work?

Our AI uses advanced computer vision to analyze your screenshots and video frames. It identifies UI elements, error messages, and visual anomalies. Combined with any context hints you provide, it generates a comprehensive bug report with title, description, and steps to reproduce. You can always edit the generated content before submitting.

Can I disable AI processing?

Yes, you can disable AI processing in your Integration Settings. When disabled, you'll get a standard template for your reports instead of AI-generated descriptions. You can still capture recordings and submit them to your integrations manually.

What's the difference between Incident and Bug reports?

Incidents are for service disruptions, outages, or issues affecting production systems that need immediate attention. Bugs are for software defects, unexpected behavior, or feature malfunctions that can be addressed in normal development cycles. You can configure different destinations for each type in your integration settings.

How do team subscriptions work?

Team subscriptions are billed per user per month. The organization owner manages billing, and admins can invite team members. All team members share the same integrations and workspace. When you invite someone, they get access to the team's configured destinations and can start creating reports immediately.

How do I get support?
